About Us:

Peter Hohepa - Director

Peter has over 20 years experience in the accounting profession including working for KPMG for 10 years both in business advisory and also in business investigations where he provided accounting support for companies such as the Equiticorp and Weddel groups as well as assignments in Hong Kong and throughout New Zealand.

Prior to that he worked for the Inland Revenue Department (Companies and Inspectorate).

Peter was also Practice Manager of McDonald Vague (Chartered Accountants) for several years before forming Hohepa Chartered Accountants Limited.

He has advanced networking skills and managed the computer systems of McDonald Vague. He also provided accounting and administration support to the practice.

Peter has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Auckland and is a Member of the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants (NZICA).. He has served as a Co-Convenor on the Information and Communication Technology Special Interest Group and is also a registered NZICA mentor.

He also is flexible in dealing with a wide range of people in a wider range of situations.

 

Kathy Hohepa - Manager

Kathy has over 15 years experience in the accounting profession and has worked in KPMG for several years. She has contracted to a number of Chartered Accounting firms as well as being a manager of an importing firm.

She has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Auckland and is a Member of the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants (NZICA)
